My client is a specialist Office Furniture Dealer based in London and are looking for a new Business Development Manager to join their growing team.

Working across various sectors including pharmaceutical, finance and the technology this company provide a full design and fit service and already work with some well-known Architects and Designers in London, however they are looking to expand this market, and this is where you come in.

The ideal candidate does not have to come from the furniture industry; however, knowledge of the Interiors Industry will be a huge advantage, you will also be someone that wants to network with the right decision makers in the A&D community, have a good eye for design, understand the commercial property market, and see the projects through from start to finish.




  • Achieve pre agreed sales targets and margins, set at around £1M er annum
  • Develop a plan with each client and attend networking events and meetings
  • Create account strategies targeting and A&D and QS Practices
  • Assume full responsibility for the sales process including mock-up and tender and take full

responsibility for closing

  • Provide accurate forecasting and weekly updates
  • Maintain and develop a strong pipeline
  • Attend new appointments each week as agreed with the Sales Director
  • Manage time accordingly to visit clients



  • A proven track record in new business sales in Commercial Interiors Industry experience necessary
  • Show energy and enthusiasm in a very competitive environment
  • Commutable to London
  • Understand the key people in the specification process, design and procurement of Commercial Interior, current relationships would be beneficial
  • Have an ability to identify and build strong key relationships at all levels with clients
  • Grasp the technical aspects furniture and parallel interiors services
  • Strong social, communication and relationship building skills
  • High level of numeracy and literacy
  • She an ability to work on your own accord
  • Support and manage accounts for future growth if required
  • Mid-level sales experience in selling B2B in A&D, QS and D&B
  • Experience in creating/managing own database of clients and specific CRM database
  • Good personal organisational skills
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy
